Friends of The Manning Regional Art Gallery…
We are a registered charity and an independent, voluntary, not for profit organisation committed to supporting and developing the Manning Regional Art Gallery and the growth of the visual arts in the Manning Valley. We have relied on the generosity of volunteers, sponsors and donors for over 25 years. “Friends” works with the FOGS Art Fund, administered by three independent trustees: Dr Philip Walkom, Gallery Patron; Mr Paul Stack, Managing Director Stacks Finance; and Mr Shane Crellin, Chartered Accountant (ret). The FOGS Art Fund is an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient and donations are tax deductible. They are used to support the Manning Regional Art Gallery, the Naked & Nude Art Prize, and promote the visual arts in our community.
About 100 Friends volunteers work at the Gallery, helping in reception and retail, unpacking and organising artworks, installing and dismantling exhibitions, and assisting with catering for exhibition openings and other events. Friends holds a NSW special liquor license for Gallery events and supplies trained bar staff.
